Insulation of Prefabricated Building COMPONENTs

Rock mineral wool is incombustible. It is made of minerals of volcanic origin, providing a high melting temperature of above 1,000°C. Moreover, it is ranked Class A1, the highest class for incombustibility.

The producers of Prefabricated Building Components introduce rock mineral wool mainly in metal or wooden facings, making the wool an integral part of the sandwich panels. These elements are used mostly for the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, containers and other similar structures as they can be easily and quickly mounted and adapted to different purposes.

Door Insulation

Rock mineral wool is incombustible. It is made of minerals of volcanic origin, which provides a high melting temperature, above 1000°C, and in Class A1, the highest class for incombustibility.

Chimney Insulation

The main reasons for using rock mineral wool as insulation for chimneys are their fire-resistant and thermal insulation properties.

Installing thermal insulation around chimneys prevents condensation of water vapour inside the chimney and provides optimum draft.

Domestic Appliance insulation

Products made of rock mineral wool are used as an insulator in the manufacture of household appliances due to their excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

Rock mineral wool materials can be used for insulating all types of ovens. The transfer of heat to other household appliances is prevented owing to their excellent insulation properties. End products (appliances) are categorized as Class A products and exceed the highest energy standards.

Thermal Solar Panel Insulation

Rock mineral wool is also used in solar technology applications due to its outstanding thermal insulation properties, material stability, high temperature stability and other mechanical properties.

Rock mineral wool boards are used as insulation in the production of Thermal Solar Panels and are placed beneath the absorber inside the collector.
